Research has demonstrated that reading during the summer can significantly enhance a child’s academic performance in the following school year. It is advisable to establish a routine of reading with your child or encouraging them to read independently for ten to fifteen minutes daily. As a school, we have resolved to request every student at each grade level to include reading in their summer schedule for the year 2023. Summer reading is highly encouraged!
