One of the pillars of Catholic education is the value of service. At St. Patricia School, we know that engaging young people in their community strengthens their character, builds compassion and empathy, and helps them to grow into adults who take on an active role in the world. We are not just educating the mind, but the spirit of our student.
The “St. Patricia Cares” Campaign has allowed our students to feel like they can have an impact on the world around them through acts of service. Our National Junior Honors Society and Student Council participate in various service projects throughout the year. They have collected supplies for the P.A.W.S Shelter in Tinley Park, headed a sock drive during “Sock”tober, and helped with our SAVERS drive. Having our student leaders provide amazing examples inspires not only our student body to act with generous hearts, but our staff, parents and parish family.
