Girls Basketball
Your favorite Lady Bobcats have started their season off strong. The first home games are on Saturday, September 7th. You can also catch them in our gym on Wednesday, September 11th. Come to one, come to both! Help cheer on your Bobcats!

Track/Running Club
Track is available to all students in grades 3rd-8th grade. Practices begin on Tuesday, September 3rd. Practices will always be right after school from 3-4 PM and on early dismissal days, from 1-2 PM. Registration forms are available in the Brown E-Envelope and on the Athletics page of our school website. Please turn in your registration form with payment prior to sending your child to their first practice. If you happen to turn in your form late, your child could miss out on the Track shirt order so don’t wait to turn your form in!

Flag Football
This is simply an opportunity for the students to get outside and have some fun. The children will be participating in scrimmages and playing multiple games at each session. This is being offered to all of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. There will be one session a week for 5 weeks. There is an extra “emergency day” scheduled in case we happen to experience any inclement weather on any of the days flag football is scheduled. You must fill out and turn in a permission slip for child or children before they are eligible to participate. Permission slips can be found on the school website and in the Brown E-Envelope.

Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is a youth soccer camp for students in grades Pre-School through 3rd grade for the school year of 2019-20.

There are two camps. The first camp is for the Pre-K and Kindergarten students. This camp will take place from 3:15-4 PM on Wednesdays, starting on Wednesday, 9/4. This camp is an 8 week camp, and the last day of camp will be Wednesday, 10/23.

The second camp is for the 1st-3rd grade students. This camp will take place from 3:15-4 PM on Thursdays, starting on Thursday, 9/5. This is an 8 week camp, and the last day of camp will be Thursday, 10/24.

Soccer Shots Director Tyler Reid and new coach Steve Maas will be our coaches this year. We are very lucky to have them at our school. They will come out once a week for 8 weeks to teach soccer mechanics, lead creative soccer activities, and have FUN! Each camp day will only run for 45 minutes after school and it’s only $99 to sign up for the WHOLE CAMP. There is a $10 registration fee that includes a Soccer Shots jersey for your child.

After school, the students in the camp should meet in the “Primary Walkers’ Room”, otherwise known as Mrs. Lang’s room. On early dismissal days (first Tuesday of the month), you will have to either send your child to aftercare or bring your child back for camp. On normal school days, if your child normally goes to aftercare, they will be dropped off there by Coach Reid after the camp. (Please notify Mr. McGowan if this applies to your child). Please feel free to send them with a healthy snack to have quickly after school. Keep it small.

*On days with inclement weather, the camp will take place in the gym.

P.E. Uniform Update
If you ordered P.E. uniform items on Organization Day, the order is still in the process of being completed. Look for an update next week on when orders will be distributed through school.

Any family who submitted a P.E. Uniform order in by Friday, August 30th, you can expect your child’s clothing items in 3-4 weeks. Thank you.

Spirit Wear Order
All spirit wear order forms are due with payment by Monday, September 16th @ 8 AM. This is your opportunity to order a Homecoming shirt before our Fall Homecoming on Saturday, October 5th! An image of the shirt itself will be added to the order form once the proof of the shirt is finalized this week. All of our spirit wear items are available.
