At St. Patricia, a sports physical should be submitted at the beginning of each sports season. A sports physical is valid for the school calendar year. If a student participates in fall sports and decides to join winter and spring sports, their fall sports physical would still be in good standing. We follow the guidelines of the Archdiocese athletic handbook, when it comes to the sports physical policy. We understand the conflict in appointment scheduling to see primary physicians to obtain a sports physical. Please remember there are quick clinics that offer school and sport physical services as well. A sports physical is required before participation in practice and competition due to the health and safety of our student-athletes at St. Patricia.
