Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. It is also the nation’s largest and longest-running drug awareness and prevention program.
Our school will be participating in Red Ribbon Week with the following themes each day:
10/26 – “It’s crazy to do drugs!” Students are to wear crazy hats and crazy socks while they are in uniform.
10/27 – “Follow your dreams, don’t do drugs!” Wear school appropriate pajamas or sweats.
10/28 – “Drugs are not a game.” Wear a favorite sports jersey or team shirt and jeans.
10/29 – “Don’t get mixed up with drugs!” Out of uniform and wear miss matched clothing.
10/31 – Happy Halloween!
Pledge: We are too smart to start! I pledge, to be drug, alcohol, and tobacco free. I pledge to encourage my peers to do the same.
