St. Patricia School, led by our Junior Honors Society, will be taking part in a fundraising campaign benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The Pennies for Patients program is for elementary and middle schools that would like to support the mission to create a world without cancer. Our school has accepted the challenge of helping to find a cure for Blood Cancer! We are joining over 29,000 schools across the nation to make a difference and raise as much money as we can! Over the next 3 weeks our school will be working to reach a goal of $800.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Many treatments discovered through LLS funding are now used for many other diseases. Donations from Pennies for Patients help families of patients pay for medicines, doctors or other expenses, and also help fund research focused on finding a cure. How many families will we help through Pennies for Patients?
