For a student to receive credit on e-learning days, all students must complete a Work Log daily and have parents sign the form to show the work was complete.
Please contact your child’s teacher with any questions during office hours via Email, Remind, and Google Classroom. Teacher Office Hours are 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 12:45 pm-2:00pm

Question: Is my child required to work on e-Learning from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm?
Answer: No. Your child is required to spend time doing the work that is assigned daily, but your child can complete the work at any time. Children in grades pk-3 = 1/2 to 2 hrs. per day; Students in grades 4-5 = 2-3 hrs. per day; Students in grades 6-8 = 2-3 1/2 hrs. per day.
Question: What if my child does not have access to the Internet?
Answer: Every student was sent home with a folder that includes assignments and activities that students can complete without a computer. If all else fails, have your child read books, magazines, newspapers, etc. Have them complete a book report on the subject.
Question: Will my child receive a grade on the work they do for e-Learning?
Answer: The e-Learning plan is a way to allow students to continue their studies while being at home. It is still considered a school day. So, yes, students will receive credit for the work they do on e-Learning.
Question: How will the school know if my child worked on e-Learning?
Answer: The completion of assignments will verify student attendance for an eLearning Day.

Answer: Yes. Each teacher has included offline learning in their plans. You can also try https://www.theedublogger.com/

Question: Are students mandated to complete assignments from the non-core classes (Music, Art, P.E., Technology, and Spanish.) in addition to their core classwork?
Answer: Yes, all students will have a weekly assignment for each of their non-core classes. Assignments can be submitted by emailing them to the specific teacher unless other directions have been given regarding the procedure to submit assignments for those classes.
