Sunday – Celebrating our Parish
We kicked off our 2023 Catholic Schools Week celebrations with Family Mass led by our teaching staff! Open House followed with new and prospective families touring the school and checking out all the hard work happening in our classrooms! Thanks for joining us and making the day one to remember!
Monday – Celebrating our Students
We celebrated our students as part of Catholic Schools Week! Without our children—the heart of St. Patricia School—where would we be? Our students got to wear their PJs to school, enjoyed a movie in class, and were served breakfast by their teachers! In the afternoon we played all school bingo. It was a great day for our Bobcats!
Tuesday – Celebrating our Community
Our “Soup-er” Bowl Sports Day kicked off with a canned food collection sponsored by our Junior Honors Society. Thank you for your generous support! One of the pillars of Catholic education is the value of service. At St. Patricia School, we know that engaging young people in their community strengthens their character, builds compassion and empathy, and helps them to grow into adults who take on an active role in the world. We are not just educating the mind, but the spirit of our students.
WOW! Our all-school assembly for Catholic Schools Week was a BLAST! We loved having the Wheel of Wisdom come to SPS on Tuesday afternoon!
Wednesday – Celebrating our Families
On Wednesday we celebrated our families for Catholic Schools Week! We hosted our Grandparents and VIPs for games, snacks, and fun. Having so many members of our Bobcat family together and making memories was truly a blessing!
Thursday – Celebrating our Nation
On Thursday, we celebrated an all-school Mass in honor of Catholic Schools Week. Our Jr. High students led us in prayer with Fr. Meany. We recognized each of our classrooms, our country, and our academics, faith formation, athletics, and drama programs. St. Patricia, pray for us!
We also had a sweet treat from the SPS Parent’s Club! Paradise Sweets and Treats visited each class with an ice cream cart – complete with music and lights!
Friday – Celebrating our School
We wrapped up our CSW celebration with a Bobcat Blue and White out-of-uniform day and a Winter Sports Pep Rally featuring our classic 8th Grade Vs. Teachers’ Volleyball game!
